What's up everyone, I notice there's a lotta south florida people here but is anyone from Jacksonville or North Florida? It'd be cool to know since I'll be ordering my 335i coupe late spring 07. Yep its a while away but I have to take care of some other things financially before getting a new car... namely a house.

In the meantime its great that this forum is so positive and informative. I was about to buy an 03 E46 M3 when the salesperson started talking about the 335 coupe that was sitting next to the M3 I was considering. One test drive and it was over, I was in love.

I got online when I got home and one of the places I ended up was here. Way better than the M3 board I was on to get info on that car, and man are they mad about this 335 being in the same league with their E46's

Well much love, if you're in Duval drop a line, if you're in the area with Bimmer or not, let's get something going now, cause its only a matter of time

And you know as well as I do, it doesn't get cold in Jacksonville lol :-)

I'm in North Folrida, home of the National "Chomp"ian Gators, Gainesville area. I ordered my 328i on December 15, production was to begin on the 5th of January. Still nuttin'. If you read alot of these posts, it appears that there may be a wait as long a 5 months for one of these suckers!!! So you may want to order now!!!!!

I'm in Jacksonville and picking up my space gray / saddle brown 335i coupe on Thursday at the performance center in SC. I'm very excited and can't stop thinking about the car. Ordered it back on 11/09.

to the OP, smart move on buying the house first. I had an e46 325ci that I sold back in 10/05 to give me some investment capital. Then bought a house 9/06 and now finally getting back behind the wheel of a bimmer.

Congrats on the order and the wait is going to SUCK. Which dealer did you end up ordering from?

I'm heading to the PC tomorrow and feel like a kid on XMAS eve

All Pro Imports in Gainesville. Yeah, the wait really sucks! Let us know how your PDC experience was. I'm doing the same thing in April.

PDC was awesome! I'm back at the hotel now. Only problem was the cold front that moved in. We were delayed this morning due to ice.

One of the highlights for me was being driven around the track and skid pad in an M5 by Don Isley....that car is soo fast and I was amazed at how good he was with controlling it. He's an amazing driver and great instructor.

Driving the X5 on the offroad course was pretty cool too. It's a very capable SUV but I'm sure 90% or so that get sold will never leave the pavement.

Took a bunch of laps in a 335i sedan with some fun turns. Then took it on to the wet skid pads to practice car control and show how the car reacts with and without DSC turned on. We then proceeded to come to a complete stop after going around 50 mph to show how the ABS works.

Then we went to the museum and did the factory tour. The tours just started back like 7 days ago.

All in all I'm very happy that I did PDC. It's about 5.5 hours from Jville. Oh, and I LOVE my new car.
