California F10 is "in transit"

My 535i was "completed production and awaiting shipping" for a while now. Today, the automated phone system said the vehicle is "in transit". So I guess that means it's on the boat. It's really coming!

After reading your post, I called the automated phone system about my 535i and it said: "your car is being transported to the port of exit"! Its not on the boat, but it is in transit to the boat!

Mine's "in transit to port of exit" also. It'll be fun to track the progress but I guess we'll have to wait until 6/19 for delivery anyway.

My father's 550i has the same status: "Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit". I'm guessing it will arrive at the NJ port a week or so before the 6/19 launch date.

I just got an email from my CA stating that my F10 550i is waiting for boat. CA also mention that i can pickup the car next day after it hits the dealership. I mention to him about the release date of June 19th, and he mention that he doesn't know anything about release date...I hope this is good news to all the new owner.

Once the ship arrives at the port in NJ, I guess the 550 will sit until 6/19.

My 535i is now at the processing center in California. We'll see if we have to wait until June 19 or we get it earlier. Haven't talked to my CA yet.

My car is at the NJ VPC now. My CA says it'll be at the dealership on 5/21 and I'll probably get it Monday 5/24. Fingers crossed. I'll keep everyone posted...

Dude, please post if you get your car then or anytime before 06-19-10.

My 550i is sitting at a holding lot currently and I am really wanting to be sitting in my driveway.

Please keep us posted when in fact its in your driveway.

Since me 550 has to clear customs prior to them releasing it to me (Its US spec registered/titled in Germany, that is a 2 weeks or so process) doesn't make much difference on my end except that I can be on my agent to expedite!

Are you sure..u can pick up the car next week? My CA had told me that earlier also that I would have pick up the car the next day after it hit the dealership, but thats not the case anymore..CA told me i have to wait until June 19th...currently my car is in processing center in Brunswick,GA since last week.... I will contact my CA again..& ask about the June 19th delivery...

Is this still valid? Are you planning to take the delivery today or ??

My CA says my car is at the dealer ready to go. If it wasn't for the fact I'm away on travel I would be picking up the car today. Instead I have to wait til I come back. Will be getting the car Thursday. At least that's the plan. It isn't sitting in my driveway yet.
