Bird pee...

Just found some nice bird pee on the side of my car...
It looks like it ate threw the clear cote...

Anyways to remove this stuff?

What you probably found was bird poo, not bird pee, (birds don't pee).

But as to how to remove it, a simple quick detailer would fix that up. Although if it's been there for a while, it probably ate through a little bit of the clearcoat--which is something that can only be fixed by an abrasive polish.

I'd suggest using Meguiar's ScratchX to remove the dimple. Good luck.

It probably came from a tree....not a bird...pine trees give off that sticky clear "pee" that you described.

In that case, try wd-40 'ing the area and cleaning it off thoroughly. Should work for the tree sap.
