AR Design Slow on fulfilling orders?

Folks,

I ordered some products from ARdesign last weekend. I've tried sending PM and an email to AR design just to get basic information about the status of my order.

So far, I've not received even a response back stating: "Hey, we've got your order, we are working on it." I got nothing in response so far.

Is this normal? I am not worried at all about AR as a company because I already know they are a reputable vendor not only here but in the VW/AUDI community as well.

Its just that I am anxious to get any information about my order. I spent a lot of money (over $2500) and I'd like to have an idea what's what....

Thanks

That I've not done yet. Yes, Andrew has been very nice to deal with previously. I sent him an email couple of days ago but still no response. I'll probably give them a buzz some time tomorrow, if I don't hear from them soon.

let me get this straight - you made a thread to complain about a vendors slow reply to your email/PM? If it was really important, why don't you give them a call? I once talked to Andrew for almost an hour on the phone about some of their new products etc; he was very helpful and it was a Saturday.

No, you have it wrong. I did not complain! I simply asked if this was normal or not? There are small vendors who use all of their staff to manufacture products which makes them very busy. There are companies who have dedicated customer support staff that answer inquiries like that. Since I don't know enough about the inner workings of A/R as a company, I simply decided to ask the fellow consumers of their products on this board about their experiences.

Like I said, I will give them a call tomorrow.

Hey guys - we are here, just running a little slow. Juggling a move into a much larger shop, bringing on new staff, and we have been absolutely FLOODED with orders to boot. I've told EVERYONE that has ordered downpipes that it is currently a 2-3 week wait MINIMUM. Everything is hand-fabbed in house, one at a time. Qualtiy takes time - and lots of it. Still working on importing some Elves from the North Pole, but so far we have had little luck recruiting the elusive little creatures.....

Phone is usually the best way to get a hold of us at this point - I get flooded with e-mails and PMs, can get a bit overwhelming at times

The problem is, once you get a hold of me, sometimes I just won't shut up.....

We've replied to all your PMs, as has the vendor you bought from (Mike) as far as I am aware. I believe he told you that USPS tracking sucks royally. Hang tight, your stuff will arrive.

AR is a little slow at getting orders out only because of the huge demand on their products.

The make the best stuff so it just takes time

It will be worth the wait I can assure you!

Andrew is one of the better vendors on this forum...Back orders happen when the demand is high and that seems to be the problem, which is a good thing!

Hey Folks,

Its well worth the wait and AR is right, quality sometimes takes time.

I'm 99.999% confident your installer will vouch for how good the product is after the installation ... weld-wise and fitment. I won't mention any of the other downpipe vendors out there, but my installer always bitches out the customers for bring those units in.

I've also got the AR linelock ... another quality piece of craftsmanship.

I'm looking at their oil-cooler kit now.
