OEM 135i brakes on E90 330i/xi
Anyone local successful in putting on the oem 135i brakes on a E90 330i/xi? From a few good sources (magmd), i was told its not a direct bolt-on affair and custom brackets is needed to make them fit. I have a set just laying around and really wanna slap these on the E90 330xi.

however, the carrier part no. 31216764443 is the same for 330 and 135. whats interesting is the stock front oem 135i brembo's are 13.3 x 1.2 vs. 13.0 x 0.9 on the 330i/xi. however, the rear 330i/xi rotors are 13.2 x 0.9 vs. 13.0 x 1.2, so the rear brakes of the 330 are a bit bigger. if i can just swap in front rotors/calipers of the 135i onto my 330 i'd be a happy camper. Kelv knows his sheit. haha if i can't get these to fit, they're yours! |

Not even close. Have you looked at the 135i brakes? The caliper design alone should be a dead giveaway.
As 335i owners, we kinda got shafted on a couple things: e.g. the brakes and the top speed limiter (compared to equivalent 135i cars). |

You can test fit them instead of doing a full blown install, then you will know for sure whether it will work or not. Just make sure the discs are also compatible too...
I just checked realoem, the piece you should be looking at is 34216769104; 31216764443 is not the brake bracket.

I would recommend comparing all the related part numbers for the following items between the 135i and 330i:
3405 front wheel brakes 3410 rear wheel brakes Also check the brake discs as well.

Someone did it on their 328xi. The bracket fits, but the disc doesn't.
Since the original disc is similar in size compare with the 328xi, he just used the original disc in the rear.

Tischer has a E90 BMW Perf. brake kit for the E90 330i which magmd has on his 330i right now. http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...gid=4462&tab=1 If i can atleast make the front fit i'm happy since its definitely an upgrade to bigger rotors/calipers. The rears i can live without since the oem 330xi brakes are already pretty big. I'm gonna make these fit. lol |

MechUT has the performance brakes on his 330i, for what it's worth... his car is a 330i.

From what I know, the 135i front brakes are the same as the 3-series performance kit (except the caliper colour). Bimmersport had no problems installing them on my car, so I would think that they are just a direct replacement for any 325 / 328 / 330.
