Do our CDN E90s have the rain sensor feature?

I'm thinking of getting the European foglight switch mod, and noticed on the ECS tuning site that they make a distinction between models with the rain sensor and models without.

I have no idea if my CDN 2009 335i has that feature or not.

Thanks.

Yeah all the cars have it. It only works well with steady rain. It gets confused by drizzle. And you have to activate it by pushing in the little tab on the right hand stalk, labeled "A".

I'd rather have a timer. When in light rain I just can't set it low enough.

Speaking of the rain sensor, once it is on, if i move the stalk up/down does it change how sensitive the sensor is? I feel like it does.. down = less sensitive, but it could just be my head.

No, changing the stalk up and down will cancer automatic rain sensing wipers and activate the normal wipers

using that rolling dial on the stalk will change sensitivity, i usually keep it highest, esp for snow.

Its a feature our cars already have, and just requires swapping out the headlight/foglight switch panel on the dash for the european version. Plug n' play.
