Exclamation Got ANOTHER Tint Ticket, NEED Pic of Car without Tint.

So I have court coming up and the officer said as long as I bring in a picture of "my" car with the license plate showing and you're able to see all the way through it, the charges will be dropped.

I can't just prepay like my other one because its my 2nd offense so I HAVE to appear in court. Stupid VA laws.

I need a pic of a black sapphire (or jet black) 2009 335i e90 from the front showing the license plate. VA state car would be best because of the inspection sticker. But I can always just photo-shop that as well as my license plate.

OR if anyone else has any other ideas, I'd appreciate the input.

And no, I'm not taking my tint off lol.

Thanks Fellas.

In the middle of the day, open the sun roof, turn on all the interior lights, maybe point some other lights at the windows from the outside if needed... and take the picture. Maybe it will be bright enough that you can "see all the way through it"

I'd suggest you think about going lighter...

Just think if you give the courts the no tint pics, and you get pulled over again with the same tints. It's gonna hurt.

i did the same thing when i got a tint ticket..except i just had to mail my pics to the court. just used a photo of the car when it was stock, didnt really expect it to work since at the time i had the OEM silver wheels and no lip or drop, and when i got pulled over i had black wheels and the hamman lip lol, but they didnt pay attention to it.

And mailing them a non-recent pic of the car isn't fraud?

+1 your car stands out so the next time that officer catches you he will eat you alive. I lived in newport news for a few years and they are strict about tint.

This is why I love living in FL.

99% of the cars down here have "illegal tint" including the cops. Never had a single issue.

Solution--------> Move to Florida. Having ghetto dark tint and wheels up there is a good way to draw attention and get pulled over. Your car screams "punk kid" or "drug dealer."

sup Dennis...honestly i think you're gonna keep getting pulled over unless you change the tint. i've got 35% all the way around ...and so does my girl...and we haven't been pulled over yet. you may want to lighten it up some.
