I thought Navteq stopped making upgrade discs for 06-07 generation Idrive?

edit: I see that Tele Atlas is now the provider.

That's fine, if you're willing to go through the motions, count me in. You watch though, you'll get commitments from everyone and Ihyln will announce the torrent.

Correct- Tele Atlas is the new 2010 release vendor. It is a 2 DVD set: Disk 1 is Eastern US and Canada, Disk 2 is Western US and Canada. Overlap in the MO/KS/AR areas.

I don't recall anyone saying it was 2 disks. What a pain. Can the two be burned on one DL disk I wonder?

Just odd that 2 disks are now needed to cover the US and Canada when 1 disk sufficed with NAVTEQ.

Weird thing...we haven't heard from him in almost a week.

It's definitely two discs as described and it cannot be burned on one disc.

Yeah I have no problem with that but I'll continue taking names in the interim just in case. If we don't hear back by later next week we'll move forward.

ifts its 2 discs then i dont think it ll work on my car..as i dont have a hdd ..

If there is 2 discs, how does it work.? Only 1 disc can be inserted!

That would mean, depending what region you want, you insert either disk 1 or disk 2. So then we might be dealing with a SL DVD. I guess we have to wait and see.
