the wait is killing me

As many of you have read, my car was hit while parked late Thursday night. The claims adjuster didn't get to it on Friday so I have to wait until at least Monday to find out if my car is totaled or not and I am going insane!!! I still haven't gotten the pics my friend's roommate took of the accident.

I keep assuming my car is totaled and have been checking blue book value and shopping for a replacement. It is really hard to find manual transmission. I think I am just going to buy one used with similar milage and try to break about even rather than do an expensive upgrade. My car held it's value suprisingly well so I should make out fine from the insurance. If they don't call it a total loss I think I am going to try to fight them on it, depending on what the damage is.
Anyway, I'll make sure to keep my DC folks up to date on my ordeal. Thanks to everyone who already posted their good wishes!

Not from the Mid-Atlantic area, but good luck! Hope everything works out well in your favor (and soon) and thankfully you're safe

It would kill me, too. I know people have said, "Great, now you can get a 335i!" I guess they want you to look on the bright side but for me, that's no way to "upgrade." I would hate to see my baby get hit or totalled and I really feel for you. I hope everything works out, too.

As bad as that looks, they might just fix it and not total it.
Do you have pics of the front?

no pics of the front. front damage didn't look to bad but it was realy dark. pretty sure I got a flat on the front driver's side so probably some wheel damage as well.

I found out from the owner of the truck after he looked at his in daylight that my car hit his so hard that the bed of the truck was pushed hard enough to damage the cab. my car was sandwiched.
