Run Flat Tire Question

Last night when i got to my garage to take my car out i noticed that my rear tire was flat. I have an air pump i fill the the tire up back to its normal size and put back the nozzle cap. I was about to stand back up, I start hearing the air leaking sound. So what do we have here? hole in the tire or bad seal?

spray your tires with soap water
anywhere bubbles grow, that's leaking hole.

Don't worry about the multiple posts, both yesterday and today there were problems on the servers. Regarding the tire, even though it is a run-flat, sometimes it is possible to have it fixed. Your hole is large if you can hear the air escaping. I would make first sure it is not the valve stem. The soap water was mentioned - it is a good idea. If you can get the tire to a tire shop, they usually have a large tub with water for finding the leaks.

I sprayed the tire with soap water and its bubbling around the seal of tire and the rim. The area between tire and rim. Drifting could have been the cause of this?

Could be. That must put a lot of stress on the sidewall and mounting on the rim. Can't be very good for your tread life either. Hope you have deep pockets for replacing tires.
