Evo RS has catback exhaust and intake.

Reminder....

Evo RS weight= 3175lbs
335i E93 weight= 4100lbs

He has the upperhand with the turbos.

I got another video where he takes off a split second before me and I still catch up by 60mph and pass him. It stood no chance. He didn't even want to try a 40mph roll. Lol

There’s no doubt that the MR-version Evo is an impressive performance car for the money. That little 2.0L I-4 engine outputs almost 150 hp/liter STOCK (and as much torque as the N54 too). Unfortunately, anyone over the age of 25 looks ridiculous driving one.

ok, I watched the video several times, and it looks like you had a slight head start because of the uneven timing of your honks which threw the other guy off: <booooop>.......<booooop>..<boop>

Either way, you would have won though.

Most people don't time the honks evenly. That would give the other driver a chance to jump you. Its up to the horn honker to give a reasonable reaction time to the other person before going.

I agree...I took off a split second before he did because I got nervous that he was going to destroy me off the launch since it's AWD and launching off redline.

I have another video where I let him take off first, but you can see his license plate which is why I didn't upload it.
He took off first, put about 1/2 a car length on me till about 40mph, then I pretty much flew by him around 60-70mph.
He kept holding it even at high speeds thinking he would have some sort of an advantage at higher speeds (????) so I held on to it too.
I took it to 155mph and by this time, he was train lengths behind...to the point where my passenger had to zoom in with the camera. lol

Again, he did not want to do a 40mph roll.
