I am wondering if anyone can help me out here. I got the snap in adapter for my iPhone 3G for my 2010 328i. Now the problem is the music never played when I mounted it. Here is my original thread from the Audio/Bluetooth/Etc forum:

Now I had the dealership look into it and they say it will never work because you can't get the 6NF option in Canada at all! I am wondering if anyone on here has the option with it working (music, phone, charging through the adapter).

I have the same problem but I haven't already purchased the parts. I phoned the dealership and they said that I should pop off the boot around the hand brake and see if there is a loose wire with a plug on it. If that wire is there it is easy to pop in the adapter (just plug and play). If the wire isn't there he said it would be quite expensive to get it installed.

I have to weigh out the pro's and con's of doing all this work in order to just use the roof fin as an external antenna (versus the BMW Y wire)

Anyone had the 6NF option ordered from the factory? I am just looking for proof if this option is available in Canada. My dealership is saying they don't offer it in Canada at all.
