Angel Eye bulb question, and reputable vendor!

Okay so I just spent 2 hours reading all these posts and comments about angel eye LED's and replacement bulbs for my 07 335i coupe. I am looking to upgrade my current H-8's to either another brighter superwhite h-8 from GP-thunder or PIAA. Or possible going with a LED replacement...was thinking of the MTEC, PIAA or something else high quality.

I searched and only found a few pics of upgraded hologen h-8 angels on here....(who has some?) And If I decide to stay with hologen bulbs, which should I go with? I would also like to change the h-3 "turning" light to that same brand bulb, and possibly even my foglight with the same h-8's....any hologen suggestions????

Now if I went the LED route for the angel eye....what is the most current/best LED h-8 for our cars? And what h-3 would match it for the turning light without looking retarded....Do most led H-8 installations require removing the fenderwall?

I am looking for just a more-pure white angel eye color for my daytime running lights, nothing crazy......

Like I said, I searched and read for hours about the Lux kit, and the MTEC, but which is better, and lasts longer??????
Thanks for the help

I've heard LUX or OSS are the best right now.

Yeah, I did some research too and I bought some Lux H8's last week and installed them yesterday, they are pretty cool, and install is not too difficult, you just have to figure it out and the second one is super easy. Should take you about 30 min with the learning curve (once you actually know how to do it it should take 5-10 min max.

MTEC will have a solution in LED for e92 h8, i will post some information as i get it, currently in progress...., LED's will last longer than halogen based bulbs, which is the main reason why they cost more

+1. Definitely go with an LED based bulb upgrade like our WeissLicht, which IMHO is superior to HID (messy wiring, blob effect) and halogen (not as bright, not as white)

If you're looking for a simple plug-n-play replacement, I would highly suggest going w/ the Lux H8 (v5.1) setup and call it a day.

LUX will give you the brightest light output for the least amount of coin.

HID and full LED replacements AE's are bright as hell and look amazing during the day. IMO, they are way too expensive for a cosmetic lighting mod. I can think of a lot better mods to buy with that kind of dough.

If you're looking for a simple plug-n-play replacement for the E90 pre-LCI (2006~08 models) then I'd recommend the MTEC E90 v2 as well
