No charge for the Burl Walnut trim ...I only copied the stuff that cost money

EDIT: no charge for the 330i, a $585 option on 325i

There are a lot of things missing. Comfort access? SMG? Active cruise control? There are more but that's all I can think of so far.

The prices are MSRP. The salesman called to let me know that BMW released the pricing info but it is not on the public website yet. A couple of hours later I went to check and the Configurator was up and running at BMW.ca. So much for the "advanced info"

The options available to us Canucks are not as "diverse" as the US market. So, no Active Cruise Control. SMG is not due out til later, isn't it? Who knows, maybe we won't get that either.

Looks like us Canadians get the Winter Package in the base 330i instead of the Logic 7 sound system.

They sure are gouging us on some prices. Leather in the U.S. is $1,450 or about $1,850 CDn they are charging us $2,400, and the sport pack is $800 more than it should be based on the U.S. price. ($1,600 U.S. vs $2,800 CDN)

Based on principle I almost want to cancel my order. Today the C$ closed at about $1.26 I build the car I've ordered in the States and it's $50,500 in Canada it's $52,300. Thanks BMW.

Does the U.S. Sport Pack have electrically adjustable seat back width?

Config for the 325i is really different from the US one, comes with winter package and Xenon, but not with the sunroof :-).

Also the rear/side sunshade is not available on the 325i which is a huge dispointement for me (sure can get dark glasses but I will be in trouble when I bring the car back in Switzerland in 2-3 years).

All in all not too happy camper. I am going to see the car tomorrow and it better be stunning or I will ask for a refund of my deposit.

Question how much is the PDI usually ?

yeah I'm not too happy with the pricing either. BMW tried to make it seem like they didn't increase the price by keeping the base price the same but the jacked up the price of the options! a fully loaded 325i is almost $1000 more expensive than that of the 2005.

Nothing official but I was told "standard rates apply". I take that to mean whatever the rate is for the '05 models (3.5% for 48mth finance or less, I think)

Snake, I was hoping someone in Singapore would chime in..Many people might think your numbers are exaggerated, but I was there last year, and they actually might even be higher than that...

But you deserve it for having such a beautiful country!! I want to visit again as soon as possible...
