Installing rear alloys on the front

hey guys,

is there anything wrong with having a set of rear 9j alloys on the front of a e92 m sport?

not really, but the Offset is probebly to big so the wheel / tire will touch the strutt. Depends on the tiresize you plan to run as well.

Its a bit wide on the front, the offset will be slightly out too if its a rear wheel.

Are you fitting wider rears then? 9J all round will give and odd handling balance (if they fit anyway)

hi, 9J is 2 wide. Even though you may be able to fit them. The tyre size will be incorrect for the width of the alloy wheel. 9J wheels will need something like 255 or 265s tyres. You can put 235,225 or 245s but what you will find is that they do not cover the edge of the alloy. The adverse effect is that they will be prone to damage. Stick with 8J..

Hartge 20" alloys are 9j front ET40 with a 245 wide tyre, so if the ET is correct you should be ok I would think.
