Picked up a new car for my wife tonight

Her previous car broke down and needed over $6000 for repairs. So I decided to get rid of it and just trade it in for a new car.

I got a really good deal on a 2010 BMW E90 328xdrive. Options include:

-Bluetooth
-iPod connector
-Heated steering wheel
-BMW Assist
-Black leatherette with piano black finish trim
-20% tint

I've got a few plans this summer...gonna get some decent looking 18in rims for the summer. Maybe M3 CSL reps or maybe M5 reps. Other than that, she doesn't really want me to do much to her car. I'll probably add a BMW performance chip upgrade for my 335 though, which is all covered by BMW warranty.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm still trying teach her all the automatic functions in her car haha She's not used to having everything controlled by computers

Congrats. Hope the stealership didn't tell you that Bluetooth / Assist was an option. It is standard on all 2010 328 and 335 models.

as a side note, what's the story with the performance chip? is it available now? cost? can you install in a pre LCI 335?

Yeah they told me it was standard haha...Open Road was very good to me. They're pretty much the only dealership I wouldn't classify as stealerhsip haha They were very generous to me in giving me a lot of freebies and discounts

It is available now, I haven't really looked into it, but apparently it costs around $700 (installation included). I'm not sure how much increased performance it offers, however they did say it's supposed to equal or better the new performance from the 335is. I'm pretty sure it will fit pre LCI 335's because there wasn't any changes done to the engine.

I actually didn't want to buy this E90 328 this year. I was hoping to buy the X1 next year, but her car didn't last the rest of the year. Oh well...she's loving the BMW...says it drives 100% better than her 10 yr old Audi A4
