Best intake for 2007 335i sedan

Im trying to get an intake for my 2007 335i What's the best intake for 335i? Is Injen dual cone intake better? or AFE Dual filter cold air intake better? Spec says Injen intake increases 13hp and AFE intake increases 27hp even tho injen intake costs more. Why is that? I heard AFE intakes actually decreases hp. Is it true?

You should have posted this in the turbo tuning forum.

Unless you're planning to run a tune, don't expect any noticeable gains from an intake. The main thing you'll be getting is some added sound. Also, I think you're confusing dual cone intakes with cold air intakes.

All I know is that they are too tedious/difficult to install/remove during BMW dealer services.

Its worth it, i have a UR intake and i have had Dual cones, Logic Hvi...and the UR Cold Air intake is the best by far. I feel like all the other intakes sit in the hot engine bay sucking in hot air. The spoooling of your turbos is such an addicting sound as well

I have the BMS DCI (Dual-Cone Intake - different from Cold air FYI), you wont notice any power gains, but the sound is so much better. The turbos spooling is pure sex.

(Insert the intake YOU have on your car) is the best!

Unfortunately that is what will happen here.

+1 This statement goes for tunes, exhaust, or anyother mod for that matter.

Without a bunch of supporting mods, stock intake + drop-in is best. You are just wasting $300 for, at best, +5 hp and some sound.

intake don't really gain as much as on NA cars regardless of brand. i'd look for intercooler or some other mods that actually deliver some gain. i actually felt stronger with oem intake over dci on low end...
