Question Painting brake calipers vs. warranty

A really stupid question but will I void the warranty by painting my brake calipers?
I just couldn't stand the rust on those brake calipers.
Thank You

i dont think this would void warranty since its only a cosmetic mod. of course a super anal dealership might give you problems but you should be ok if your SA is a good guy.

had the dealer do this for me under warranty a few weeks after i got my car...got pissed that they would deliver a car with rust all over the wheel hubs. im sure you can do it yourself without any warranty problems...they did mention something about using a higher temperature paint.

if your brake have problem in the future, they can blame on it by saying your didn't paint it properly. For example paint got into the piston area and causing brake not functioning properly etc, therefore they will not give you warranty on them...
