Anyone interested in buying the wavetrac diff?

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to find out if anyone is interested in buying the wavetrac diff?

This is for the part itself, if there is enough serious people that will buy it, we can get a really good price from a member from this forum that has a good connection with a supplier.

But we need to know how many will buy it.

We already have a shop in the GTA that can install it (welded or not welded).

And from the dyno test day there was a lot of interest, so I will start by putting my name on the list and see how many more want in.

This would be for these BMWs: E90/92/93 BMW 335, E82/88 135 and E39 BMW 540

Ohh god, let me put some solid thought into this. I am short on funds as I have my next bolt ons planned but damn I would love an LSD. I don't think I have a welded diff either as I am a 2009 build with an auto tranny.

Far, can you PM me the early quotes you have for labour and the diff itself. Thanks.

The current price I've been able to negotiate with US supplier: US $1049/unit shipping included to a US PO BOX or Address. Based on 3 purchases.

I'm hopping we can get few more OPs and I might be able to negotiate a better price...

im really interested in grabbing an lsd, all depending on price and ofcourse labour charges, mines an 08 auto tranny. dunno if its welded or not. put me down as a maybe.

farly, pm me with the info as to what shop ur using and around how much for the install.

This is what RMP quoted me for the diff labour.

He thinks he can get this done for $700-800 installed.

The first one will the longest (cnc program need to be made)

I will have it out quick, its the machine shop time I cannot say until we get it there.

It shouldn't be more then 2 days 3 MAX

I believe the other ones may be possible in 1 to 2 days.

Of course if you have a bolt on it would be less.

Can you find out what would be the price and turn around time to install Brand New Auto Rear Differential Assembly with LSD.

I do remeber reading somewhere that 135 AT's dont have welded diffs. I guess I should check my car. That being said, I need the cash for the power mods, looks like LSD will have to wait a few months.

To be honest I don't want to rush into placing order until end of March. That way I hope it'll give us 3 weeks to get few more OPs that might help with better price. Will give me more time to find out what kind of price I can negotiate if we go with Brand New Auto Rear Differential Assembly with LSD with core exchange program.

Don't like to rush when we're talking about spending $2000+ by the time it's all settled and done. I hope the rest of OPs are

with this.

my 09 auto is not welded however they don't have a diff for me just yet.

I am talking to wavetrac to see how long it will be before this is available.
