JB3 which map?

Hey im installing my JB3 Pnp for the first time what map is it good to start off with, i shouldn't jump right to the higher maps right?

depends on your mods and octane etc....If you dont have any other mods stick with map 3

start off with Map 3 for a couple days, this is also the default map, for adaption.

Then depending on your mods, octane, ambient temp/sea level, you can go up from there.

Map 5 usually with 93 octane is the norm.

I'm with the OP in this one I live in staten island and I want to get the jb3 2.0 but I don't have any other mods I always run 93 the only other mod I was thinking of doing is the DCI.. What map could I run while not running the risk of blowing something.

you can run 7 with 93...i've run into no problems.

yeah..if you have good gas run map 7 if you want to feel what a tune *should* feel like, the throttle modulation is incredible.

I didn't start with any lower maps. Started with map 7 from the get go and never looked back.
