Going to Windsor CT this weekend. Any suggestions

Hey fellas,

I'm taking a trip out to Windsor CT this coming Saturday. A friend of mine is there for 3 weeks training for his new job. They gave him a full suite and all so I planned a trip out there to visit him with a few other buddies of mine.

Does anyone recommend anything out there? Any good places to eat, visit, any attractions? I heard there is a nice aquarium out there.

Any suggestions?

There are plenty of places to eat in Hartford. Some are more upscale and some are more or less expensive. Just grab a few brochures at the place where you are staying. Then in Mystic you have the Mystic Aquarium and the Mystic Seaport right next door. Definitely worth going IMO. They will be about 1 hour drive from Windsor. I would also check out the two casinos in CT. Even if you don't like to gamble the entertainment and food there is unreal. Not to mention the shopping and museums. Again maybe an hour drive from Windsor. Hell let me know if you go and I might even tag along.:happening: Anything else I can help you with just let me know. Later

Oh I forgot to ask what kind of training is your friend doing in Windsor???

Hey, thanks for the response. He's training to be an adjuster for Travelers insurance. They sent him out to Windsor for a conference/meetings/training. We're trying to stay within his vicinity and not travel too far out.

theres also quite a lot over in Manchester Ct, a huge mall area with lots of stores and restaurants. its not too far away from there.
