Vorsteiner Validity?

I bought this trunk:

I have no reason to not believe the OP - I am just curious if there is a way to tell if something is true Vorsteiner. There isn't a card and the under side has been painted.

Just curious if there is another way

One of the two I've seen in-person had "Vorsteiner" embossed on the underside, towards the mounting hinges

There should be an authenticity sticker underneath the bootlid and a warranty card that you can verify with Vorsteiner.

Seller says the sticker has been painted over - does not have the validity card.

Again, I have no reason to not believe the seller - just curious is all

You can have them look up the warranty card with the vendor or Vorsteiner through the original purchaser's name.

Do a search for Vorsteiner trunks - you aren't going to find them cheaper than that. Plus this one is already painted the color of my car which saves me an additional 400+.

I'm not too worried about it - if it's not real I will get a refund

im not saying thats a bad price at all! im saying if its fake its a bad price. if its a real vorst trunk its worth that no doubt! ive seen them go for over a g for the double sided cf versions!
