Thumbs up DON'T LIKE BUMPER PLUGS? Click here

For those people who don't like the look of bumper plugs sticking out of their bumper, here's an alternative. I used black vinyl cut into the shape of a penny, cost me $5 and they are as flat as it gets, on my black E92 you can't even tell it's there.

Good Idea. I've got some extra black vinyl, I'm going to try this out!

I sanded it down with 400 grit sandpaper, just a little bit should do the trick, the bumper material is really soft.

Is this vinyl with an adhesive back? Where do you buy it?

(I got my JB 335i from Rusnak, too!!!)

Haha, Rusnak plates FTW!!! I got them from a shop that makes decals for cars, they had a bunch of colored vinyl sheets, so I asked them to cut me a few circles out. I'm not sure where you live, but the shop is located at The Block at Orange. Yeah, it has an adhesive backing.

That looks great. I'm still pretty happy with my bumper plugs. They look a hell of a lot better than the license plate.

Just very little chips came off, I only sanded it for 20 seconds or so, nothing major. I got some sand paper and put it on a pencil end and started twisting and it lightly sanded down the hole.
