TInt Options

Hi All,

I wanted your opinion about the %, I have Black E92 with red interior. Since I am in Cali, I don't wanna get a ticket and get dark tints.

What would you guys recommend and would you happen to have pictures as well.

Thanks!

Well you dont want to get tickets. I'm not sure whats legal in Cali but if you're not looking to get hassled I'd suggest 35% all around. If you want it just for looks and want the blacked out look, go darker.

If you're doing it to keep the car cool than I suggest going with ceramic tint and putting an extremely light tint on the front windshield (ex. 60%).

Whatever you do, dont put different %'s on your front and back windows. That looks horrible.

sadly I believe the legal limit in CA is 70%. Which is basically stock tint.

35% all around is best option, nice shade too look clean yet not dark enough to make cops want to pull you over. i haven't gotten a ticket yet and i lived in both norcal and socal with the tints *knock on wood*. I think the legal limit is 70% from what I remember, but with 70% it's going to look like no tint is there anyways lol.
