What do you think of this shift knob?

I was debating between this one and the ///M perforated one. I have the ///M perforated steering wheel, so I was thinking about getting the matching shift knob. But, I like the tactile feedback with the chrome/aluminum shift knob. By "tactile feedback", I mean I like the feel of the alum/chrome versus all leather. I actually don't mind the looks of the stock one, but it's just too damn tall IMO. Anyways, for those who currently own or have had experience with the above shift knob, I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

when you switch back let me know how much you want for the e46 shift knob. my hand slips off this stock 1 too much. been shifting from 4th to 3rd instead of 5th.

Really? I didn't realize the '09 335i xDrive came with this knob stock. I keep going back between this one and the ///M perforated one. I am leaning towards this one b/c the alum/chrome matches the iDrive control knob AND since my interior is already black, I wanted some contrast.

I had this one but I switched to the perforated leather once I figured out how to take the ///M insert off the perforated leather knob.

They're both nice.

Thanks. Damn, that' a pretty good price despite being "damaged". I think it would bother me too much to see that blemish though. Good idea.

I just got the perforated one in the mail and I'm putting it on this weekend....all I know is that I love it already. I'm also installing the same steering wheel as you and the park brake handle...so...obviously you know what I think..
