Commute question

I’m landing @ Laguardia airport on a Monday morning (8:35am) and need to take a taxi to Kennedy international airport to Japan (departure time 11:35am). Am I screwed since is rush hour or 3 hours should be plenty of time to catch my flight?

YOu have enought time to stop off somewhere to have lunch and still make the flight, plus I think there is a rail system to bring to from airport to airport.

Yeah make sure you take a taxi. There are shuttle busses but taxi will be fastest. Should only take about 1/2 hour at the time of day. Should also be a lighter crowd at JFK since you'll be in an international terminal. No worries.
