Just been out and caned through 20 quids petrol

Was bored tonight so went out for an hour drive or so round the local roads after dropping the miswah off, just got in now at 3am . Caught the day at just the right time from when it's bitterly cold and dry to when its cold and icy AND OMG! The car feels SO responsive. Flooring it in 4th gear the car pulled like a train, in 3rd and 2nd it felt like my neck was flying back. In this cold the engine just responds instantly. The roads are dry as fook and the grip is immense. Car felt completely different tonight.

Just thought I'd share and I'd recommend trying your car out at night when the roads are empty and the temperature is cold. Car just changes. Doing the speed limit of course

Thanks for listening

costs me £25 quids worth of Derv a day for my commute, and can't say that puts a smile on my face, but maybe more so in the E93 than most other cars
Glad you had fun

times gone by

Once upon a time a handsome young man lived in a faraway land called Deutschland at the northern end of the enchanted Black Forest.

His evenings were spent happily recording musical works of great genius onto a couple of blank cassettes. On Sundays, while the gentle folk of his village slept, he would arise at dawn and quietly slip way, to drive along the magical A500 Schwarzwald Hochstrasse (Blackforest high road), where he caned the shit out of his E30 M3 Evo. Smooth, cambered tarmac,3rd gear bends marked with signs and 2nd gear with chevrons, he delighted in exploring the limits of adhesion, while keeping an ever watchful eye for deer or wild boar that may wander into his path. The early morning sun on his windscreen, the air chilly and dense, the scenery beautiful, the music loud and the E30 M3Evo one of the best drives ever as it oversteered in 4th through the myriad of open bends. The young man's heart soared....what a joy to be alive

I went out last Friday night and was amazed at the performance as you say the car felt completely different, the engine revs so much more freely in the cold

Just put £20 to top the tank up on the 924 Turbo. Wouldn't be a problem but I've only done 35 miles since the last top up!

That's 1.9 miles to a litre (at £1.10 per litre)! You need to get your feet out of those lead boots you're wearing.

Otters are only miserable because they can't be mapped.
