Exclamation Help maybe someone here knows

Ok took my car to service because when driving at parking lot speeds and turning the wheel I am getting this clunking noise from the front end. Happens when turning the wheel pulling in and out of a parking lot space. It even happens sometimes when going over a bump in the parking lot. Sometimes just turning the wheel and not even moving it makes that sound. So the service guys was able to hear it clear as day. Well they replaced both front strut mounts. I get home and still getting that noise just as I stated above. I don't think they are going to be happy when I call them later. They were not sure to begin with on what was going on???? So anyone out there ever have the same problem?? Any ideas I can give them since they seem lost about it??Thanks in advance.

Judging by the number of threads that have popped up recently for AK Motorwerks, AutoCouture, Camber-Toe, MAC, etc, I have a feeling you should receive a plausible hypothesis to your issue.

But hopefully your dealer will fix it up under warranty!

Could be bad swaybar endlinks. I'd really have to take a look at it before taking random guesses lol

Could be that (if XI), or about 30 other things.
Let the dealer have another stab at it and make sure they note your inconvience.

Ya my car 335i. They heard the noise over there with me but when I talked with them on the phone they said they can't firgure out what is causing it. When they told me they replaced both strut mounts it sounded like they were just guessing it was that. I just don't understand why they can't firgure where it is coming from. Let's try to replace this and that is what it sounds like is happening. Dam at this rate I will have a new front end.
