call up the dealer, make sure they have the tire in stock and verify you still have the insurance then bring it in to get replaced

Lucky you... Last year I had a 2008 Mercedes C300 with 20" rims. Cabbie fa99ot cut me off to pick somebody up, I went to swerve around him and met Mr. Sunk-in pothole and BAM! It was like smashing into a curb at 40mph. Needless to say BOTH driver side front AND rear were blown. Oh, that's because BOTH rims were SPLIT IN TWO!
But I feel for u. At least u have insurance |

Funny how they forget to mention that when they tell you "basically with the wheel and tire insurance, if u get a flat, ur covered, if u bend or crack a rim, ur covered etc..." but they are sure quick to add an extra $1500 or so to the final sale for it... Assholes...

It depends on the coverage u have for your wheel and tire.
But its also BS how the dealer tells you have to pay first being that the dealer doesn't deal with your insurance co, but the dealer ends up getting the reimbursed check made out to them, when u paid the dealer. Happened to me twice at Rallye, both times had to wait an extra 2-3weeks for the dealer to send the check back nd the insurance co to send me one. But yea the dealer adds on their part and u end up getting a check for $50 less then u paid at the dealer. Its all a way for the dealer to make a quick extra bucks. Best bet is calling your wheel n insurance co and see what shops take your insurance so u don't get raped by the dealer. |

Gotta make sure the pot hole was documented to the state/town/city/county before hand and have proof the pothole caused the damage(police report is best)
