End Of Warranty Inspection?

So my car is coming to the end of it's warranty. I'm a little worried, as it hasn't had any problems like some people have had (HPFP, wastegates, turbos, ect). I'm worried because maybe these things are going to happen the day after the warranty expires... but what can you do, nobody has a crystal ball.

Regardless, I'm taking the car in for an oil change and was curious if I should/can ask them to go over the car to see if they spot anything. Do you think the dealer service would do this? Or should I take it to an independent, pay a couple hundred bucks, and get some piece of mind?

you can do a 55 point inspection through the dealer. gives the major components a once over.

Not sure where you are located, but Brian Jessel Autohaus in Vancouver is offering free 50 point vehicle inspection until the end of March...

Unfortunately, I'm in Ottawa. The 55 point dealer inspection sounds good to me... what does the dealer charge for this? 1-2 hours I'm guessing.
