What's the recommended mileage for wheel alignment?

Hi Guys! Whats the recommended mileage for wheel alignment? The mileage on my car is currently at 40K. The steering wheel feels pretty straight. Do i need an alignment? Have never gotten one since i brought the car from from the dealer on first day.

look at tire wear. If it's uneven then you need a alignment. otherwise don't worry about it.
