Just a quick question, is the eisenmann race a cat back system ? and is there an option for a full system with x pipe and cat bypass pipes, or do you have to mix and match with other brands for those ?

Eisenmann Race is just a mufler. If you want an X-pipe or HFCs you'll have to go with a different brand. A few options are Fabspeed, Active Autowerkes, Gintani, Dinan, and Akrapovic

Good luck

Hi - Yes we are an authorised dealer of Eisenmann products in the UK.

Click here for a dyno graph, more videos and review from a forum member.

Cool. Bear in mind that there is a 3-5 week lead time on Eisenmann exhausts as they are made to order.

I can't believe no one has snapped that up yet Mikey. They are very difficult to get hold of in Europe.

I had an Eisenmann Race exhaust fitted at AI tuning which is just outside London, i went via the CA automotive website.
The did a great job, and its sounds awesome!
Now looking into having an x-pip fitted, just not sure what, cat less, single cat, brand, and the legalities of it? Any ideas?

I believe the exhaust system has 2 sets of catalytic converters.

Providing you keep one set of cats, you should be able to pass an MOT emissions test.

The only potential problem will be noise. In theory it is illegal to swap the exhaust out for one that makes more noise than standard, but he'd have to be a very unhappy copper to pull you up on that as nobody really cars, especially if you have a V8 M3!

at the MOT they will just issue an advisory for the exhaust being loud, its not a fail like the emissions test is. Which your car will do if you remove all the cats.

As long as they are the upper set or high flow replacements.

Thanks guys

They are 2 different brands. Eisenmann Gmbh do not make a "Mesterschaft" exhaust. They make "Sport" or "Race".
