BMW M1 rendered by Kooper

EDIT: Adding base picture for comparison:

Hi all

Has been a pretty boring weekend so far, so I decided to make this:

Name: BMWM1c.jpg
Views: 9746
Size: 81.0 KB

I know it's not perfect, but anyway. Please excuse the numberplate as well, originally made this for Jalopnik.

You can find revealed design details of the M1 here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=348217

Got a slight update here:

So I know the powerdome and hoodvents are still not there, but somehow I doubt the M1 will feature either one of those (the vents maybe). I'll still add those at a later stage though.
The central air intake will probably also look quite different as has been mentioned, but the means to sufficiently change it is somewhat out of my reach at the moment.
This chop might continue to evolve as time goes on, check back regularly for updates if you're interested. And if you want something added/ deleted from the chop, please feel free to comment

Nice!

Now add more aggressive fenders for the wheels, and small powerdome on hood, along with the vents on the hood...

Wow, didn't think my humble chop would reach front-page

Thanks for the feedback all, I'll add some more bits as suggested.

its a try but wont look like this in real life for sure.

I seriously doubt BMW will just copy M3 front and side skirs onto 1er. If anything they'd want to differentiate a bit.

That's probably relatively close. Nice job.

Needs the wider fenders, bulge and vents in hood, eyebags with xenon, etc. Also, I seriously hope it get's ///M specific mirrors and not the larger ones on new 128/135 cars.

I am definitely feeling this! Can you edit the render with hood powerdome & M3 mirrors though? . With those things added I would definitely buy this car!

Oh it would also be sick if you did the back! (widebody)
I think that is the best looking part of the 1-series
