19" VMR 710's w/Yoko Advan Neova AD08 ? Advice Please
Hi guys.
Hopefully winter is almost over, and I want to finally throw on my wheels. I am looking at the VMR 710's in: 19"x8.5" +35mm Matte Black 19"x9.5" +33mm Matte Black I am going to be on H&R Sports and want to have an ultra-aggressive stance, and will be rolling the fenders. What Offset spacers can I go with this setup? Could I do 10mm all around? What would be recommended? with Yokohama Advan Neova AD08's 245/35-19 Tires 265/30-19 Tires What are these tires like? I heard they are wider. Any experiences with these, as in Wet traction, Dry grip etc, Road noise etc? Are they worth the extra $300 over General Exclaims? Thanks for the help ! |

Here is a setup we did a few days ago for member Chumley. SF-71 19x8.5ET35 and 19x9.5ET35 wrapped in Advan AD08 245/35/19 and 265/30/19 lowered on Eibach springs. It is nearly identical to the setup you are planning to use other than different wheels. It fits very flushed with the fenders, with an ET33 you will rub in the back due to the wider profile of the Advan tires.

Thanks for the pics AluFelgen!
So how are people getting the aggressive M3 offsets on the E92's? I don't mind rolling my fenders to make sure I have adequate clearance, but does that mean I should think about different tires? I do kind of like the stretched look, and the Advans in this picture look pretty wide. Nice tires tho! |

Just make sure if you get a wheel/tire package, that you speak with someone who really knows these tires, and the wheel set up they're trying to provide you with. The set up you had listed on your first post is good, but I would think about running the 235 size instead of the 245. Check your PM. |

I was thinking about this setup on my E92 as well.
Koni FSD, Eibach pro kit only difference would be the front tire size would be a 235/35/19 et 35. The rears would be the same, 265/30/19 et 33 With the Yokohama's where are they going to rub? The front or the rear? What other brand of tires are not as "wide" as these Yokohama's? |

The issue for you is what you define as "ultra-aggressive"? To me, it sounds like you really want to push the wheels out, not just have wide tires so I would think you'd want to bias the tires toward being less square with more stretch and add your spacer to push the wheel out wide. I really don't think that's going to work with these tires. They run wide and are very square. There is no stretch whatsoever with 265's on a 9.5" wheel...in fact, you could probably run the 265 AD08's on a 10" wheel without it looking bad. My point is that you are dropped a bit more than I am on Eibachs so with your +33's you will most likely rub slightly on a driveway or dip without a roll. I don't know if rolling the fenders will get you back enough room to push everything out the 10mm-15mm you need to accommodate any spacer that's going to be noticeable running a wide/square tire like these. |

Tom / Jurrian,
Thanks for the great info and the PM. I will be speaking with you guys very shortly. You're right...those are some serious tires! They look like perfect track grip, and I'll take your advice and go with something more road friendly for my setup like the 235's up front if I stick with AD08's. I am really trying to go for the M3 stance or similar to the Ultra-Staggered you guys offer with the VB3's in the 19x10. I dont mind rolling my fenders, and going with a more "stretch" friendly tire or something with more rounded walls. Would the Exclaims be a better choice to get as flush as possible. This isnt my car but the stance is what I had in mind...hope owner doesnt mind me posting his pics |
