Question Where to get CSL in 18" and powdercoated?

Hey guys,

Im looking for 18" for my E90 328i, I know VMR has them but they are not powdercoated, anyone has any ideas?

We can do these in a custom powdercoat for you before you purchase the wheels so they arrive with that finish on there.

Cheaper then EAS?

EAS I had to pay $200 for custom color and TAX as my shipping agent is in Cali = Not a good deal

That's what we charge for the custom powdercoat and we are required to charge tax for all in state sales. If you have a shipper outside of CA, then you can get around the tax.

You're going to pay a $200 premium to have the wheels custom powdercoated by any of the vendors on here...unless you want a standard VMR color such as matte black or gunmetal, which you can get at EAS

$200 is indeed reasonable price, but Im just aint feeling paying it to get a decent paint. I think all wheels should be powdercoated from factory, otherwise first tirechange or after a year or two the paint would get nasty.

well, painting and powdercoating is different. For what its worth, most wheels come painted vs. powdercoated. Put it this way, a good paint or powdercoat job will not be messed up on a tire changer, but if an incompetent person is manning the machine, even the best paint/powdercoat job will get scratched.
