noob - with type 162 rims wants spacers on rears should I do it?
hey guys I'm new to the idea of spacers and want my tires to be wider...I measured about 3/4 of an inch which is ~19mm on the rears for the gap. A member is selling a pair of VAC spacers 18mm which I'm thinking of getting...should I do it or not? I also need to buy the extended lug nuts too...
I would like to get rims but I just dont want to spend that much money now or maybe even later too. Any help would be much appreciated! thanks! chk this out http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=349386 supposedly it doesnt rub without rolling fenders...heres a pic from the seller. let me know what you think

A difference of 1 mm will hit (rub) ALL the time, unless your car was fully compressed when you took that measurement. I'd probably think 15mm max.

Come to think of it...if you were to just put on a new set of tires with a 1 mm difference, they'll probably touch. Yeah, 15 mm max. 12 mm is probably the best idea (to be safe).

I'm lowered on 162's but no spacers. I'll probably just buy new wheels when I replace the runflats.
