Spacers on 162's?

Hey guys. I have my stock 162's on my e90, thinking about powdercoating and getting some better tires. I have K&W coilovers, and was wondering if anyone might know what size spacers I could run without rubbing. Anyway to figure it out or is it trial and error until I dont rub?
Thanks

I'd use the following guide to see how much room you are working with and decide for yourself.

a 18mm RE spacer is perfect in the rear IMO. Thats what I run.

I have 20mm rear and 10mm front with rolled fenders - no rubbing at all.

thanks cal! I've been wondering too since I'm a noob to this section. So let's say you get the measurement and it comes out to idk 20mm what the general rule of thumb when picking a spacer in terms of mm? that you should be 5mm below the actual distance measured? or flush is okay in the situation of not rolling the fenders?? Also whats the deal with hubcentric? do i need that for type 162 wheels?

I'd recommend not trying to get flush with the fender as you may rub on bumps or thru corners and what not...

you should get hubcentric spacers nonetheless to ensure that you wont get any vibration issues down the line.

gotcha that makes sense...so hubcentric spacers are to help with vibration issues...is installing hubcentric spacers anything difficult? Could I just install it myself at home?
