TecnoCraft Envy Charge Pipe Fitted

As Mikey was stripping his car back to stock I bought his TecnoCraft Envy Charge Pipe, fitted earlier on today & was very easy to fit as Mikey said.

Lovely piece of kit you’d have to agree, whether or not I’ll get the 14bhp gains that Pyespeed reckon (hooked up with a BMC filter, which I already had) is yet to be seen. Not noticed any notable difference as yet but have only been up and down the road. Having a good run to the Lakes tomorrow for a meeting so we’ll see then.

Hope you guys don’t mind me posting a couple of pics up, but thought a few of you might be interested to see it.

Marcus

I hope to be proved wrong but I very much doubt that pipe adds 14bhp.
How is the fitment as some have posted that it leaks? Looks like the jubilee clip is not mounted properly?

Teddy is selling a gruppeM rep for £800. Have you considered that?

According to Pyspeed it does with the BMC filter, but whether it does or not I'm not too fussed as I got it from Mikey for half the retail price

Took that shot before I tightened the clip, but you are right about leaking, it will if you don't seal / pack the fitments with tape first to make a good seal when fitting.

That gruppeM rep kit looks ok but I haven't heard of anyone who has had it fitted yet.
Marcus

PS Good luck on your M3 hunt!

Cheers mate. Have put the E46 up for sale today, will be on Piston Heads shortly.
Teddy has sold 4 so far but I can't find any reviews.
I really want interlagos blue but they seem rare and even rarer with good spec.

Good luck with the sale!, sounds like a nice example you have there.

Spoke to Teddy a month back about his intakes.....may be tempted if I could speak to someone who has one!

Inter Blue's do look great, there's always AW though

The electric tape seal was designed intentionally for much better seal. And also the flexibility, so the chargepipe won't go to waste if something happen with the rubber seal.

Hope this help ~

Check out our intake. We have 3 left in stock. M3post members Donbona and Simonlam are both running this intake from us.

We can do this for forum members for £800 inc VAT and shipping.

If the charge pipe fits in stock location then I see no reason for it not to work with this system.

Hi Imran

I know yours is made in Greece but is there any difference between this and the SSDD version? Is this loud on part throttle / cruising?

It is not loud on part throttle or cruising. You can confirm this with Donbona as his car was the first one the system was fitted too after the development car. It makes a wonderful noise at full throttle and has confirmed power gains.

I have not seen the SSDD version up close so can't comment on the differences.

He always drives that slow doesn't he

For what it's worth, yes the charge pipe has made a difference.
