CSL Replicas

Hello All,

I'm in the market for some 18, maybe 19 inch CSL replicas, after doing some research the two major companies seem to be VMR & AluFelgenCo. However, I stumbled across this website and there prices seem pretty reasonable. What do you guys think, should I stay away?

http://www.umnitza.com/umnitza-replica-wheels-p-1102.html?options={13}359{14}604

I have a 2006 325XI and need the replace the stock 16" desperately. Should I go with the 19" or 18" set up? Provide your reasoning too please.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.
Anthony

Anthony,

The main thing to look out for, in addition to reputation, is certification for strength and construction. The reason we have carried VMR wheels for the past 5-6 years is because they continue to be a leader in terms of strength, quality and affordability.

All of their wheels are JWL and VIA certified and they guarantee the finish for 1 year. We continue to have success with their wheels and for that reason, you see tons of high remarks on the forum for their brand.

There are plenty of options out there but for me, I would rather spend a tad more and get something that is proven.

Glad you are asking questions beforehand.

Don't let a cheap price be your only factor in making a decision, even umnitza was selling VMR wheels for a short time before his account was canceled, making the switch to the brand (unnamed) being offered now.

Demand the best, not a vendor's "runner up" choice: this is where using the forum search will come in handy. VMR pretty much dominates the BMW market when it comes to quality cast wheels, and has been doing so for quite some time.

Base your decision on value: which consists of quality, price and customer service. Being VMR's largest stocking retailer - we can offer all three.

Hi Anthony

Doing proper research before committing to a purchase is always the smart choice. I would try and stay away from the lower-end brands to be on the safe side and try to research direct customer feedback about the product you are interested on. This will yield the most accurate and unbiased reviews.

Our CSL wheels come in 19" fitment for your 2006 E90. Alufelgen have proven to be the strongest, lightest, and best quality CSL replicas available in the market and nobody can refute that. Our wheels are powdercoated for a durable finish, low-pressure cast which yield mechanical properties as close to OEM as possible and provide the most accurate CSL design.

Our wheels are also JWL, VIA and TUV-Cert which means they are built in a factory that is TUV Certified and manufactures wheels for the OE market.

We`ll be very happy to be of service.

Your decision on which CSL wheel to purchase is a question that has been asked time and time again over the years. In terms of quality you want to make sure that the CSL style wheels are manufactured to meet the highest performance, quality, and safety standards in the industry. Make sure that the wheels pass JWL and VIA standards to ensure the highest level of safety and quality. VMR's lineup have wheels have been extremely successful over the years and the community can attest to the quality of their products

Here's a picture with the difference in concavity vs the different wheel sizes VMR offers!

I am really curious about the gold CLS custom color. I haven't seen any cars on the site with them on.

I love the look of AW with gold rims. Just use to seeing a lip. I was thinking of going matte black but there are so many out there.

Gold looks great on AW, but Matte black is killer. Either way, AluFelgen is the top dog in the quality department.

Thanks!! I am torn. I like the gold but would be scared to do. Matte black is safe and aggressive but everyone is doing the AW with matte black rims.
