I'm leasing my new E91, but the letter was sent because my current lease is ending, and written as if they didn't know I'd already pulled the trigger on the new car. This will be my fourth lease with bmw.

Now I just have to hope that there are some additional incentives by the time I take delivery!

I have leased/ financed/ purchased 4 BMWs in the last 5 years. I think I would have qualified. Perhaps BMW Canada provides incentives to allure customers, like yourself, to lease a new car as your current lease is ending soon.

So I asked my SA about this ( I am taking delivery of my car in April). This is what he told me "It is a BMW FS pilot project to target people whose X3 or 3 series lease matures in Jan to June. It is only targetted to selected lease end customers "
WTF???? Loyalty only for lease customers? Are they out of their mind? Now I am wondering whether it is even worth to stay with these guys

It's pretty common for companies to segment their existing and potential customers and target different offers to different groups. My guess is that it had something to do with how late I'd left my decision. Typically I've arranged my next lease well before the current one expires. Could be that they have some calculation about the risk of losing a customer, and use the incentive to (in their minds) bring them back.

well guess what i got in the mail today instead of a nice $1000 loyalty bonus from BMW Canada. I got a letter from Ontario ministry of transportation. I WAS LIKE WTF? i open it and it say LICENSE SUSPENDED because I DIDN'T pay for a speeding ticket! GG and I WAS LIKE WTF WHEN did i get a ticket!!! then i checked the drivers license number on my card and it didnt match mine and then i had a sigh of relief. this person had the same name as me this fucker almost made me thing i had my license suspended. i called the ministry of transportation and asked if this letter saying my license is suspended but had the wrong drivers license number. and the lady said dont worry about it if its the wrong number.

When they dropped the lease rate they also drastically reduced the residual value. So at the end there was really no reduction on the lease payment.

Sorry I left mine at work. It is basically a greeting size style phamphlet that trys to convince you to go back to BMW. Attached to it is a half business card size card that says $1000 off your next BMW, with the car's VIN and lessee's name printed on it.

haha! I am one of the lucky one that still got high residual (59%) & low interest rate (1.9%) + ok discount (6% off) on a custom order!
