Does warranty covers Tie rod

I went to get an alignment this weekend and they couldnt adjust the tie rod because its frozen, would the warranty replace this?

I went to mavis tire to get an alignment and they couldnt complete the alignment because the tie rod could be adjusted, they tried heating it up but it wont come loose

Im asking if warranty would cover the replacement of it because its frozen and cannot be aligned correctly.

doubt it man, give it a try..

take your car to the dealership to get aligned, and have them diagnose the tie rod as frozen - broken. Then they can replace it or see what they say.

If its under 50k miles it should be covered. 4yr 50k from sale date. I'd say bring it in and tell them, they should replace it for free. As long as its not bent or anything

Just an update guys, I took the car in the dealership and explained that I took it to Mavis and they couldnt complete the alignment due to a frozen tie rod and they replaced the tie rods under warranty and did the alignment at no cost and a few additionel services that was due while they were at it, great job BMW of Greenwich.

good to hear that they took care of it under warranty...at least there are st ill some honest stealerships out there...
