How Long to Fix Vanos & WG Rattle

Hey... I'm thinking of taking my car in finally to get rid of this wastegate rattle. And every so often maybe 3 times over 11 months I threw the Inlet Vanos Variable Control code or something.

Anyone have any idea how long BMW might have my car for these 2 fixes?

Thanks.

3-4 days is my guess. My dealership needed 2 days to replace the turbos. Looked like a huge effort.

lol yeh ive had both issues since basically day 1 of owning the car was just to lazy to do anything about it. but seeing as how i'd like to make moves and go stage 3 this spring i figure i should pull the tune and intake out and get the loose ends taken care of now before it becomes a pain in the ass

It took 1 week for my dealer to do the turbos! Lots of going back and forth with engineering on doing proper diagnosis, then the parts had to get ordered... But they also fixed the A/T pan gasket due to a leak they found while they were in there.

Is this something an independant shop could fix, or just the dealer?
