JB3 2.0 Auto Shift Logs!

Just a couple logs from JB3 beta testing. These were taken from an automatic Stage 3 car running map 7 on 93 octane. Logging done via a BT cable, and the same run was logged using the JB3 software.

Areas of note:
1) Throttle stays fully open during forced WOT shift.
2) Full boost is held through shift.
3) Not only does timing drop to zero during the shift, it actually goes negative! Now that is some good integration right there.

So the Bt can actually read negative timing? I did not know that. So it actually reads and shows everything, not just what someone wants it to show? These logs are starting to make sense to me now as well. Good stuff

Am I reading this correctly?

Looks like the boost was between 12-13 psi and the shift point was at 4500 rpm....

Hey mike, looks good! It would be cool to see 2nd to 4th run! My cars in the shop back in a few days. Will try to log the new firmware file that Terry sent. See how car reacts to it in compare!

Thats will be great for the community...thanks for the comparo because I am also curious to see the difference of JB3 2.0 that everyone has been raving about...but with your thread it answers my curiosity..

What the hell happened to your tranny...is it that faulty gasket and sleeve?

I've been noticing that too, thats why the power feels so linear during shifting....

Exactly, a sudden an unexpected automatic gear change. Logic for WOT shifts is similar and easier to manage, as you always know when the shift is coming. You see a touch of throttle closure if any, lots of negative timing, and hold full boost. I'll post a log if anyone is interested, but that is basically unchanged.
