Does anyone else with an Xi have fitment issues with the stett cai....specifically with the snorkle part going to the filter and the wheel well?

Regardless of the XI, they had that issue when the intake first came out....That was one of the main reasons why I went with the UR CAI which doesn't have this problem...Early in the production and installation of Stett CAI, I heard that people had to shave off and even cut some of the fenderlining to make it fit...I thought the problem was resolved already, but I guess not....I am sure FBIS will chime in and say that its fixed, but I don't know..

Did you try the lower pipe in both directions? What I mean by that is reversing the side of the pipe that connects to the filter? It can be installed backward.

Mine fits like a glove, so I am not sure when there was a problem? I suspect they were installed backwards.

A friend recently installed one and it fit perfectly as well. so +1 for the backwards install.

Why don't you speak directly to Chad at Stett. In my experience they have very good customer service.

I am in the UK and had a problem with a hose for my Stett charge pipe. Chad immediately sent a replacement over to me by express mail which I received four days later.

He will definitely try and sort out your problem, unlike many other companies who just take your money and ignore any issues that arise.

Chad was very helpful and willing to help me out. I'm gonna fiddle with it again and see what happens., He also suggested putting the dv piping on the other side of the intake pipe.
