JB3.
Best Bang for the buck.
I use it on my daily driver, 15,000 mile plus with JB3. PROBLEM FREE!

Is this the time when people start suggesting whatever tune they have without any first hand experience of how other tunes drive?

Many great tunes are available. Search for JB3, Giac, and Procede as they are the most popular.

Goal: power, safe, reliable- This is my daily driver... I need help with tuning/chip

Intake: Injen - Good choice but also look at the BMS dual cone or the Afe intake
Hard Pipe & BOV: Synapse - I would recommend Forge Diverter Valves
Cat-Back: Magnaflow
FMIC: Spearco - Great choice but other more cost effective options are HELIX or AMS (both great units)
Tuning: JB3 or Proceed are the top pics. My personal bias is towards the JB3 but do some reading and if you can drive both and see what you prefer.

Vishnu, JB3, Active?

any help is appreciated...
Welcome to the Tuning world I edited your list above with my advice. Feel free to post any more questions or PM/email me as well if you want more detailed info on the JB3.

There are many threads on this forum pertaining to your question. Do a search and read up on it. It's just depends on your preferences, Flash is safer, piggyback/chip can be removed right there at your home in case you take it into the dealer, etc...

If I were you I would go with a jb3 because of the free updates and wonderful support. For example Terry and I exchanged over 50 emails yesterday getting a misfire issue that turned out to be my o2 sims. We got it fixed and sent him logs that he is looking at as we speak. He is so helpful and really enjoys what he does which is the kind of person I want to deal with, an enthusiast.

there is a ton of info on here on all the tunes. JB3 and procede tend to be the most popular and it comes down to how much you want to spend and if you want a lot of user adjustable features. As of right now the JB3 has no user adjustable features until the 2.0 software is officially released soon unless you become a beta tester right now. They all have their pros and cons to a degree. Piggy backs are great because they can be removed very easy for warranty work. that combined with the BT scan tool you can make sure you are ok with codes.

I'd go with JB3 or Procede. There are plenty of threads for you to research. I'm sure you'd enjoy whichever one you bought, but there are pro/cons to both and it's up to you to decide what is more important.

Just go with a tune first BUT (this is a big but) make sure you drive the ones you are looking at. It will influence your decision a lot

Im in the marktet for a tune. So who here can provide a JB3, PROcede, and GIAC tuned cars for a back to back comparison? Oh, it has to be Chicagoland.

Is it realistic to advise someone to test them all? I mean most dont even test drive other cars in the category, can you really expect us to track down 3+ cars and owners that will allow us a test ride?

This is why such a forum exists.....for educated opinions, right?

If you want the best tune for YOU, you have to try all the ones you are considering in YOUR car. My honest suggestion is to try the PROcede v4 last, of course.

GIAC, JB3 or PROcede... I suggest you take the time to test drive them if possible on your car or others. Then do a search on a customer service/support and tune reliability (issues caused by the tune).

Good luck sifting through all the BS and bias on any car forum. If you want to do it right you have to do it yourself as usual.
