Will these be replaced on older 335is that come in for fuel pump failure under warranty?

"all" pumps replaced in the future should be replaced with the superseced part number. just check the invoice to make sure that the "improved" part is being utilized.. and make sure your advisor is aware you have knowledge that there is a new part number for the HDP

cheers

my warranty's gonna expire in 3 months.... and i just had my HPFP replace 2 moths ago. Do I get extended warranty on the HPFP just replaced? i mean.. if the HPFP die on my 4 months later... do i have to pay for it?

I think there was something where BMW extended the warranty on the fuel pump for 10 years 100K miles or something like that. Correct me if I'm wrong.

HPFP is 10 years 10K mile warrany in the US, check with your local dealer to see if it was extended in Taiwan - these types of things tend to be extended only in the markets that have a lot of complaints.

Promising... hopefully this ends the reign of unreliable HPFPs on the N54.

when my car was in service last week, i had the SA printed me a service history of my car, at the bottom of the summary, it has a comment "HPFP warranty is extended to 10 years/120,000 miles"

but i had mine pump replaced about 2 months ago with "881"......

They had a replacement for the first one that was suppose to fix the problem, but that turned out to be a dud, hopefully this new revision will completely solve the problem.....We will see what people report with their MY 2010 cars...

2010 and still HPFP shenanigans? Who would have imagined. BMW really dropped that ball.
