Installed HVI logic intake and now getting 10 MPG?

I installed an HVI Logic intake on my e92 335i and now the computer is reading an average of 10mpg. even when it is idling it shows between 8-10mpg. what could i have possibly installed incorrectly?

Either your engine is getting majorly starved for air or you are having a crap load of fun.
Did you try resetting the OBC?

Any noticeable decrease in power? If so, that would explain a lot. I'm curious to see what the problem is.

+1 there must be no air going into the engine. I would stop driving the car until you fix this thing.

Maybe you have broken a sensor or something when you swapped the airbox with the intake, you you have loosen up a hose, etc.
