Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

I recently Put my Jb+ up to 100% and LOVE it, unfortunately now my turbos are whining a bit louder at low rpms and i didnt hear that when i had it on 50%.

Can someone confirm that im screwed or not?

my car has 22k miles and it was 50F outside

thanks

Have you turned down the JB+ and tested whether they still whine?

ETA: Some do whine, you may not have heard it before but with the increased boost it will make it more apparent if they are prone. There's a chance the turbos might go out, but then they may last out the whole time you own the car, seems to be a bit of pot luck.... FWIW Mine started whining after a while but nothing ever came of it.

Maybe because you are pushing a little more boost at 100%, you are hearing a little bit of whine?

Does it whine with the JB+ taken out?

its probly just cuz its putting out more boost, also my stock airbox is making a little more noise, slightly similar to a DCI but at a much lower volume

Sorry dude, dunno. That does sound strange regarding the airbox.

Your best bet for your peace of mind (cause it will drive you crazy) is take out your tune, get any codes cleared and take it to a dealer for them to test out.

I'm sure it's fine, and not until you get to the siren-like wail should you be really worried.
