depends on which sound system you have
but in all cases if you are not using an external amp it's hardly worth $200 as the difference will be marginal they start to sound good when you give them a lot more power |

You'll need an aftermarket amp. Also, keep in mind that these are the 4 ohm version. The 2 ohm version will work better for most applications.
