I picked my 2009 325i M Sport Coupe up this afternoon and it's fantastic!!!

The auto box is so so good! I found normal drive offers plenty but flick it into sport and it's fabulous with the paddle shifts!

A few questions...

1) Can you switch it into sport mode while the car is moving or does it have to be stationary?

2) The car has found my Bluetooth phone but not the numbers in my phonebook. These are stored on the sim card and not the phone, would it help if I transfered them to my phone memory?

3) Will I ever stop grinning while driving this car?

2) I'm not sure about that. Move one contact to the phones memory and see if it works. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Unless I miss my guess, he's talking about the actual Sport button, not DS (could be wrong, though).

Sorry I went out for another drive! It's 11:20pm here in the UK too!

I wasn't talking about the sport button, I was refering to the sport mode on the auto gearbox. Can you shift into this while the car is in motion?

I will post pics when it's light tomorrow morning!!

for my car it needs me to add the # and contacts in, but for the life of me I cant seem to make it store numbers i give it, so i just gave up.

nice, as far as the contacts go if moving them to the phone doesnt work then it is probably the bluetooth version your phone is running on. for example when i first had my coupe i would recieve and make calls via bluetooth but no contact info. once i got my iphone and i think it uses like bluetooth 2.1 software or something dont quote me on that, everything got synced to the car automatically once paired together. either way nice ride and im really pissed i didnt get the 19s on my m sport

Congrats on the car! Nice color choice.

For the phone, my LG shine would not add contacts on the car. I had some old phones in the house, so I tried those. Motorola's and Blackberries will add the contacts in. So, maybe it is just your phone that doesn't support it.
